Doc Johnson Makes Successful Debut At ComplexCon
North Hollywood, CA – Doc Johnson had an extremely successful showing at this year’s ComplexCon, which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on November 16 and 17.
ComplexCon describes itself as “a groundbreaking festival and exhibition that brings together music, style, sneakers, pop culture, art, food and innovation. A weekend where creative minds converge to celebrate the latest trends and ideas shaping our culture, the festival features exclusive releases from the most influential brands, immersive experiences, thought-provoking panel discussions and electrifying performances.” It was completely sold out, with 60,000 attendees over the course of two days.
“This was an awesome opportunity for us,” said Chad Braverman, COO of Doc Johnson. “Doc Johnson has a history of bringing adult pleasure products to the mainstream, and involvement in lifestyle experiences like ComplexCon is a great way for us to continue that tradition.”
For the show, Doc Johnson teamed up with Pleasures, a luxury streetwear company, as well as Pizza Slime, a social-media favorite, to create an activation at the co-branded booth. For $50 each, thousands of customers received limited-edition merchandise from all three brands, as well as the opportunity to take pictures in the co-branded glory-hole photobooth.
“Everybody who came to the booth was excited,” Braverman continued. “We didn’t have any slow moments, and I’m so glad we could get Doc’s name alongside such big names at the convention.”
Involvement in this massive event follows Doc Johnson’s recent partnerships and crossovers with high-end streetwear companies. In 2023, Rose in Good Faith created a sneaker using leftover and upcycled materials from the Doc Johnson warehouse. Additionally, the Doc Johnson shirts sold by Gallery Dept. have been wildly successful, with multiple celebrities photographed wearing them.
