Brian Sloan Profiled In June 2016 Playboy Magazine
Chicago, IL, – “The Man Who Wants to Change the Way Men Get Off” is the title of the nine-page profile of sex toy entrepreneur Brian Sloan, in the June, 2016 issue of Playboy Magazine.
The piece explores how Sloan left his legal career behind to build a 10 million-dollar a year company he runs from a table in a café in China. Powered by “shameless self promotion” and with only one full time employee, the article also examines Sloan’s entrepreneurial journey which happens to include a run in with Chicago homicide detectives. Writer Mitch Moxley followed Sloan in China to incorporate into the article his tour of the factory that produces the Autoblow 2 and to Berlin to observe the awkward conclusion of Sloan’s Vaginal Beauty Contest.
“Although a profile in Playboy read by hundreds of thousands of people is a cool achievement for me personally, I’m more excited about the possibility that my story might inspire other entrepreneurs to push their boundaries to achieve personal and business growth,” says Sloan.
Playboy, an American men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine, was founded in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner and his associates. In October 2015, Playboy announced that starting with their March 2016 issue, the magazine would no longer feature full frontal nudity. The June issue features Playmate of the Year Eugene Washington.
