NSDS Honored with 5 Awards at AVN

Chatsworth, CA – New Sensations/ Digital Sin were honored at the 2019 AVN Awards with five combined wins, including a Best Comedy victory for writer and director Jacky St. James’ new romantic-comedy “Love In the Digital Age.”

“Love In the Digital Age” marks the celebrated filmmaker’s triumphant return to romantic comedy and is the first release for New Sensations Romance following 2014’s AVN multi-award winning “Second Chances.” The film stars Gia Paige as an internet-obsessed millennial, who on a dare, gives up her smart phone and social media only to discover that love is more rewarding when your head’s out of the cloud.

“I am ecstatic with our Best Comedy win for ‘Love In the Digital Age,'” Jacky St. James said. “The influence of social media on our lives is insanely depressing so I’m glad we could create something worthy of laughing about. I’m grateful to the incredible cast and crew who made this what it was — one of my favorite movies to date — and to AVN for this wonderful honor.”

Having ushered in the hotwifing genre in 2014, New Sensations’ ongoing efforts to expand on the niche, keeping it exciting and creative, were acknowledged at this year’s show with big wins in a mix of categories, including Best BDSM Movie for “Hotwife Bound 3,” Best Polyamory Movie for “Watching My Hotwife 3,” and Best Ethnic Movie for “My Asian Hotwife 3.”

Sister studio Digital Sin took home the award for Best Older Woman/ Younger Girl Movie for its artistically produced lesbian erotica “Women Loving Girls 3,” an all-star vignette marking the return of its acclaimed all-girl series “The Lesbian Experience.”

“We’re always so grateful to be recognized by AVN,” said New Sensations/ Digital Sin director Eddie Powell. “Thank you to all of those who voted these films as winners and to everyone involved with our projects for their commitment and enthusiasm. It was a great year.”

In addition to the movie awards, AVN honored New Sensations’ Production Coordinator Renae Orenstein-Englehart with induction into the Executive Branch of its renowned Hall of Fame, citing the 30-year industry vet as one of “adult’s enduring gatekeepers” and “an integral part of helping discover some of the adult industry’s biggest names.”
