How did you get into adult movies as a performer

I was going thru a breakup and was watching a lot of Dani Daniels porn, and I really saw how much fun she was having while having sex and I’m a very sexual person.  The breakup happened because I cheated on my partner, and I love sex so I thought maybe now I can go out and have sex with multiple people and maybe do it on camera because I’m a huge exhibitionist

I contacted Derick Pierce because he was in a lot of Dani Daniels movies, and he got back to me and helped me get into porn. That’s how it happened.

Can you tell us a little bit about your first movie scene

I was super nervous, honestly, I had no expectations, I didn’t/t know what was going to happen really. It was a POV scene it’s just me and the male talent there with him holding the camera, so it was pretty easy. It was super nerve wracking at first but once we got going it went smoothly, and it was very comfortable.  I felt like it was just fun and as soon as that first scene was over, I was like I want to do this for a long time!  

Can you tell us about how your performance may have changed over time

When I was new, I was a very vanilla performer, I did only boy/girl and girl/girl and I kept it very simple, very vanilla and then slowly I thought I have to do something else to get my name out there because I wasn’t winning awards, I wasn’t really being I noticed.  I was working hard but I wasn’t getting any recognition so  maybe I need to be a little bit more extreme and do different stuff so I’ve been doing DP, anal, blowbangs and stuff which I was kind of iffy on doing but then I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and I realised that I love it,  so I’m finally starting to get the recognition that I wanted so that’s good. I’m more of like a rough performer that I was before.

Has performing assisted you in any way to evolve as a person

Yes –  I used to be very naïve, I’m not sure if it was because I was young, but I used to be very naive and I got taken advantage of a lot and I feel this industry definitely gives you a thicker skin and a harder shell. I feel like I can stand up for myself and I know who I am now.

Career wise – where you are now and where would you like to be

When I was new, I really didn’t know that I was going to do this for like a long time, I didn’t know how to plan out my career or anything.  I didn’t really have any guidance so after a while I was thinking I need to get a manager, or have an agent and some PR.  For a while now I feel like I’m starting to peek in my career, and I hope that stays like that for a long time because you know female performers – you never know really when it’s going end but I’m still on the rise though!  

I really want to be known as one of the best performers because if I want to do porn and put myself out there to the world, I want to be known by the name Emma Hix like Riley Reid – she has a name that’s known. I want to be a Brand and have a name for myself.

What do you like best about performing and what would you like to do more of

I’d like to do more feature movies because I love acting, I know I’m not the best at it but every time I get a script for a big feature movie, I really love diving into the character.  Even just a normal gonzo scene where there’s a little step-brother or whatever it’s still fun to play a younger girl or even a MILF, I was a MILF one time and I’m only 22 so it’s kind of fun to jump into different characters.

What I wanted to be when I was growing up

I wanted to be a firefighter at one time, then I wanted to be a social worker which I did go to school for but then I dropped out as I realized I wanted to do porn instead.  What’s funny is in one of my yearbooks, I think 6th grade, I put down I wanted to be a celebrity and I’m not a celebrity as such, but it’s funny how in 6^th grade I’m starting to build it.

Down time when I’m not working

I have 4 animals – 3 cats and a dog so they keep me really busy. I watch a lot of movies, I run my own OnlyFans and my Snapchat so if I’m not on set working, I’m always at home working.  You know when you love what you are doing it’s not work it’s just fun.
