Montreal, QC – Gamma Entertainment’s Girlsway and Pure Taboo were honored with eight AVN Awards for industry excellence at Saturday’s 35th annual show.

Girlsway’s lesbian erotica studio earned three awards: Best Action/Thriller for Vampires, Best Actress for Sara Luvv in The Faces of Alice and Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Movie for The Art of Older Women.

The ‘forbidden relations’ studio Pure Taboo was selected for Best New Imprint, and its provocative feature Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy received four awards: Best Drama, Best Supporting Actor (Small Hands), Best Supporting Actress (Kristen Scott) and Movie of the Year.

“We are so proud of the work we’ve achieved with Girlsway and Pure Taboo, and so happy to have been recognized by AVN this year,” said Bree Mills, Head of Production for Gamma Films. “It’s a labor of love to make something that means something to you… to have it resonate with others is why we’re in this amazing business.”

Mills noted that, in addition to Half His Age’s Movie of the Year triumph, she was particularly happy that three of the awards were for acting: “A hearty congratulations are in order to Sara Luvv, Kristen Scott and Small Hands for their AVN Awards. They embraced their roles and the results speak for themselves.”

Mills and her Girlsway/Pure Taboo team were on hand to receive their AVN Awards last Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada during the Adult Entertainment Expo.
