James Deen Earns Two Nominations for 2015 XRCO Awards

LOS ANGELES – Adult superstar James Deen has been nominated for Male Performer of the Year and Mainstream Adult Media Favorite for the 2015 XRCO Awards.

The X-Rated Critics Organization will present the XRCO Awards in April in Los Angeles. The location and hosts are still to be announced.

“It is always an honor and super awesome to be nominated for awards,” said Deen. “I hope that even when I’m old and grey, I will at least be nominated for oldest and greyest. Thank you, XRCO!”

The adult industry icon and award-winning performer/director was nominated for Male Performer of the Year, which is presented to performers who have shown excellence over the past year. Deen last earned the award in 2009. He was also nominated for Mainstream Adult Media Favorite, an award presented to performers who have shown consistent mainstream media appeal. If Deen receives the award, it would mark the third consecutive year he is selected for the honor.

Altogether, the adult superstar has received five XRCO awards and 14 XRCO Award nominations.

It was 11 years ago that Deen began his career in the adult industry, ultimately establishing his own powerhouse production studio, James Deen Productions. He has since expanded into mainstream media thanks to his highly popular adult films, his many awards, and for his outspokenness and approachable demeanor. In the past, he has appeared in such outlets as ABC’s “Nightline,” GQ Magazine, Rolling Stone, E! Entertainment, Esquire, Playboy, TMZ, and many others.
