Lewis Adams – Topco Sales

Adult industry sales pro Lewis Adams told XBIZ he has joined Topco Sales, where he’ll focus on e-commerce and private-label customers as well as new business development.

Adams arrives at Topco with 15 years of experience in several areas of adult entertainment. He began to build his profile as Director of Marketing and Promotions for Hustler, helping turn the company’s cache of magazines into a successful video line.

He has also held executive sales positions at Jill Kelly Productions, Red Light District and most recently Pulse Distribution.

“I’ve learned a lot about sales and relationships in this industry over the past 15 years, especially at Pulse Distribution these past eight years,” Adams said Wednesday.

“It was a hard decision but I felt the timing was right in my life to make a change. I worked with some amazing studios and great customers, many of which I consider friends. I’m a very lucky man.”

Michael Siegal, COO of Topco, said, “We are excited to have Lewis on board. He has a great track record in the industry and we are confident he is a great choice to introduce all of the new products we are currently working on.”

Adams said he was already working on a couple special projects for Topco.

“They have some of the best-selling products available today, most notably their Cyberskin,“ he added. “We have some new, mind-blowing toys coming out and our warehouse is filling orders at top speed. I’m very excited and grateful to be part of the Topco renaissance.”

Recently, Topco molded the private parts of newly crowned Penthouse Pet of the Year, Layla Sin, for an upcoming signature toy.

“Luckily our in-house artist Kevin stepped up because no one wanted to go in there and take pictures of the process, but he got some great shots,” Adams said with tongue in cheek.

Topco Sales was established in 1972 and has recently moved into its new facility in Simi Valley.

Adams documented his unique experiences in the adult industry in his autobiography “The Summer I Got Tall.”
