Review- Voice Activated 10X Vibrating Egg with Remote Control- XR Brands

Fresh from winning the AVN ‘O’ Award for Outstanding Innovation, the Whisperz brand from the XR umbrella offers something…a little different. It comprises two butt plugs – one a prostate plug, the second the more recognisable, universally shaped butt plug – and a Vibrating Egg. All three items come with a voice-activated remote control so that your play pal can (literally!) whisper into the remote to get its partner buzzing.

It’s the 10X Vibrating Egg that’s making waves for us here at Synergy Towers; its ergonomic form is sexy and stylish, and it’s sculpted in classy black phthalate-free silicone. First impressions count, and there’s no doubting the visual appeal of the Vibrating Egg (check out the promo vid for proof). Its overall length is 6.2 inches, of which 4 inches is the insertable area, and at its widest its diameter is 1.3 inches. It can be used internally as well as externally for clit-stim enjoyment and titillating nipple action.

When it comes to bathtime, the Vibrating Egg is splashproof rather than waterproof, so it’s more suited to the shower than the tub. The Egg is rechargeable via a USB cable and flashes as it charges, while the remote takes a standard lithium battery. 

Of course, it’s the voice-activated remote which separates the Vibrating Egg from its competitors; thanks to its in-built microphone, this seemingly innocent pebble-shaped item proposes a multitude of options. It hosts three buttons; one to power both the toy and remote; another to cycle through 10 different vibration modes, and the third to enable the voice-activation setting.

The Egg is extremely entertaining: it really feels like an adult toy! You can make it vibrate by whispering sweet nothings into the remote, you can serenade your lover by singing love songs, or even sit it near a speaker and let the rhythms of your favourite playlist set the scene. Equally appealing is the 25ft range of the remote, which means tons of cheeky fun out in public as well as at home. There’s potential for exciting power play here, and if it all gets too much the wearer can turn off the toy separately from the remote. The possibilities are endless!
