10-Function Silicone Love Rider Rippler – California Exotic Novelties

If you’re intrigued by strap-on fun, you may like to try California Exotic Novelties’ 10-Function Silicone Love Rider Rippler. Featuring a vibrating dildo in bold black or unthreatening hot pink silicone attached to a secure black polyurethane harness, it’s a great kit to explore an area of intimacy that’s becoming increasingly commercially viable in the adult industry.

Thanks to its polyester lining the harness is comfortable and holds itself nicely in place, and the good-sized dildo is interchangeable with others in the Calex range, rendering this a highly versatile package. Furthermore, of course if you’re not in the mood for a strap-on you can simply use the dildo on its own. The ten functions (vibration, pulsation and escalation) are reasonably powerful and range from the titillating to the robustly persuasive, making it a decent stand-alone vibrator in itself.

Then there’s the ever-celebrated “state-of-the-art memory chip” which remembers the function setting of the dildo you were using last time you played with it, and the weight of the dildo itself: satisfyingly firm but pliant, with the welcome heaviness of body-safe silicone.

Girl-on-girl aside, the dildo is too big to be used on an anally inexperienced man, and the harness is too small to be worn by a big bloke. However, if he were slim he could wear the harness to DP his female partner without the need to introduce an extra man into the bedroom: forget the politics, just party with your partner!

The dildo comes with a sucker on the base, supposedly for hands-free fun, but unfortunately the sucker comes unstuck at the slightest pressure – which is a shame, as otherwise this could have led to the Love Rider receiving a rave review. Likewise, the omission of two AA batteries, which are essential but not included…Come on Calex, it’s not that difficult to add a couple of batteries into a package – is it?

On the flipside, a positive aspect well worth mentioning is the Love Rider’s Nickel-Free Alloy ring, which for allergy sufferers like myself is a very thoughtful addition to an entry price-point product. Similarly, the manufacturers have added a loop to the harness to hold the vibrator control pack whilst in use, which is a nice touch.

As with many Calex creations you get a lot of bang for your buck, and this is especially true with this unusually adaptable item. Maybe we should give the 10-Function Silicone Love Rider Rippler that winning review after all…
