Penny Pax Wins Best Actress At 2015 XRCO Awards

Hollywood, California, – Saturday night at the 2015 X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) Awards in Hollywood, radiant adult star Penny Pax took home the Best Actress trophy for her performance in Eli Cross’ Wetwork from Vivid Entertainment.

Pax, who won an XCritic Award for Best Actress in 2013 in addition to being nominated for Best New Starlet by both AVN and XBIZ, was thrilled with her latest honor. “It’s a dream come true to win the XRCO award for Best Actress,” Penny beamed, “especially with the competition in that category. Eli Cross and the entire cast and crew made shooting Wetwork so easy and enjoyable. I’d like to thank them, my agent Mark Spiegler, my publicists at Porn Star Ink, and my Spiegler sisters for all their support.”

Cinderella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (Wicked Pictures), in which Penny appeared, took home the Best Parody (Drama) award at the star-studded ceremony, held at Lure Nightclub in Hollywood. However, Wetwork was the most honored film of the night, picking up the award for Best Epic, and earning Steven St. Croix a Best Actor trophy.

“I’m awed by the reception our movie has received,” said Cross. “We had an amazing cast and crew on Wetwork; Penny and Steven are each at the top of their game, and this recognition for Penny in particular is long overdue. Congratulations all around, and thank you XRCO!”

Penny’s compelling performance in Wetwork previously earned her Best Actress nominations at the AVN and XBiz Awards earlier this year. The story of assassins and international intrigue won seven awards at the XBiz show, including the Feature Movie of the Year trophy, and St. Croix won Best Actor at the 2015 AVN Awards in Las Vegas.

Penny’s newest release, Avengers XXX 2: An Axel Braun Parody, will be released online tomorrow by Vivid. Penny stars as Mockingbird in the latest in the exclusive Vivid SuperXXXHeroes series of comic parodies created by legendary director and undisputed King of Parody Axel Braun. Avengers XXX 2 features a script co-written by Braun and Eli Cross.
