ECN Launches Fundraising Campaign for ‘No Shave’ Movember

By on November 22, 2019

Hightstown, N.J. – East Coast News is in the midst of its interactive “No Shave” fundraising campaign in support of the Movember Foundation, which addresses issues that impact men’s health – including testicular and prostate cancer. The fun campaign requires participants to donate $20, shave their facial hair, and leave it for the month in the hopes of winning one of several $100 gift cards and the chance to take home a 50+ inch TV from Aneros, and ECN founders Michael and Frank Koretsky will match ECN’s total donation to double the impact of every contribution.

Members of the ECN team have shaved their signature beards and are posting their facial hair progress throughout the month. Along with their “no shave” selfies, ECN staff members are engaging the industry in an important conversation about the importance of men’s health and proactive healthcare and encouraging customers to make their own donations to the Movember Foundation.

Each individual sponsor will choose a winner based on their own criteria; participants can win $100 towards a spa day from System Jo, a basket of Aneros toys and a 50+ inch TV from Aneros, or a gift basket of product from Bathmate. Participants are expected to refrain from shaving but are permitted to tidy up neck lines.

“This campaign is such a fun way to contribute to a great cause and the ECN team has really gotten into it!” ECN Vice President Lynda Mort said. “We are so grateful to System Jo, Aneros, and Bathmate for sponsoring this campaign and to the Koretskys for matching our donation! Movember is a fun opportunity to support an important cause while promoting important information about prostate and testicular health, and ECN is happy to lead the way.”

The Movember Foundation works to address issues that impact men’s health like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide by funding groundbreaking projects all over the world, engaging men where they are to understand what works best and accelerate change.
