Fleshlight Counterfeiter ‘Lemei’ Gets Raided in China

By on December 7, 2014

The Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau raided the factories of Chinese counterfeiter “Lemei,” which was producing fake Fleshlight products.

Interactive Life Forms, makers of the Fleshlight brand of masturbators, said it worked with the Chinese government agency for two years.

According to Fleshlight COO Brian Shubin, Fleshlight plans to “relentlessly continue this fight on infringers of Fleshlight brand goods.”

Matthew Esber, ILF’s General Counsel said, “Counterfeiting operations like this essentially are defrauding customers by stealing from American companies like ILF. Losses from counterfeiting impact our product development, operational areas and ultimately they impact our customers, most of which are trying to purchase legitimate products that are developed and made in America and Spain. We worked with the Market Supervision Bureau in China because we strongly believe in defending the intellectual property rights that we’ve worked so hard to create.”
