LELO Tops XBIZ Awards as Best Company and Best Luxury Toy of the Year

By on January 21, 2015

Stockholm/San Jose –  Swedish designer brand LELO has today announced their most successful year ever at the 2015 XBIZ Awards, picking up more prizes than any other brand and winning in three major categories: Luxury Toy/Line of the Year, Sex Toy of the Year – Powered, and the most prestigious Pleasure Products Company of the Year.

The ceremony, hosted by iconic adult film star James Deen, took place Thursday night at the JW Marriott live in downtown Los Angeles, California. These three latest trophies are LELO’s seventh recognition in four years from industry authority XBIZ, and it was the biggest haul of the evening for any pleasure brand.

The LELO product singled out for the Luxury Toy/Line of the Year award was oral sex simulator ORA 2™ of the company’s award-winning Insignia collection of pleasure objects, further cementing the ORA line’s reputation after last year’s Cannes Lions Award for Product Design.

The 2015 XBIZ Awards also recognized HULA BEADS™ as the Sex Toy of the Year – Powered. Able to both vibrate and rotate when worn inside, these remote controlled pleasure beads are the first of their kind and their recognition at XBIZ is proof of their devotion to innovation as well as our own.

Steve Thomson, Global Head of Marketing, said: “We’re honored to be recognized for another year at the fantastic XBIZ Awards, and their commitment to quality and pleasure reflects our own. It is truly a reward for the hard work of everyone on our teams across the world, as well as all of our retailers, and the recognition both humbles and inspires us to achieve even more in the coming year.

“To walk away with more awards than any other pleasure brand is a testament to the experience and the devotion that we put into every product, and to have received seven in four years makes us incredibly proud and only more determined than ever to keep raising the standard.”
