Lovehoney Supports People with Disability Through the Dylan Alcott Foundation

Bath, UK – Global sexual wellness brand Lovehoney is delighted to announce its partnership with the Dylan Alcott Foundation to provide grants for young Australians with disability.

A first for the foundation and Lovehoney, the initial grant of $10,000 will support people with a disability to embark on further education and expertise in the sexual health and wellness space.

The funds will be allocated to suitable applicants interested in a career in the sexual happiness and wellbeing sector and will fund work experience opportunities, and possible mentoring from industry leading experts, such as Lovehoney Ambassador and Psycho-Sexologist, Chantelle Otten.This can also apply to course fees, equipment, or related costs, to enable progression in this chosen career.

The grant forms part of both Lovehoney and the Foundations ambitions for a more inclusive and diverse workforce in Australia, as they strive to provide inclusion for everyone to have career options in any sector.  

Director of Lovehoney Australia, Rob Godwin, is thrilled about the partnership: “Inclusivity is something we have been focused on as a brand for a long time now, both in our retail offering and as part of our workforce. We work closely with Remove The Barrier to employ people with disability, and 12% of our current workforce in Australia identifies as having a disability, and our aspiration is to grow this further.

We hope this grant will provide people with disability with an avenue to further their career in the sexual happiness and wellbeing industry, and open up new opportunities in such an exciting and growing sector.”
