OnlyFans to Ban Explicit Sexual Conduct

London, UK – Hugely popular social platform OnlyFans, which allows creators to monetize their personal content free of advertisers direct to consumers, have announced that effective 1st October 2021, they will be prohibiting sexually explicit conduct on the site. Nudity, as long as it conforms to their guidelines will still be allowed.

“In order to ensure the long term sustainability of the platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines. These changes are to comply with the requests of our banking partners and payout providers”.

“OnlyFans remains committed to the highest levels of safety and content moderation of any social platform. All creators are verified prior being able to upload any content to OnlyFans, and all uploaded content is checked by automated systems and human moderators”.

Since its creation in 2016, privately owned OnlyFans has paid out over $3 billion in creator earnings and established itself as the go-to platform for over 100 million registered users and over 1 million creators worldwide.
