Washington, Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance (WSFA), the nonprofit human rights organization whose mission is to affirm sexual freedom as a fundamental human right, recently elected Richard Moore and Metis Black to its Board of Directors.

Moore has been a relentless champion of diversity in the corporate world, advancing business opportunities for minority-, women- and LGBT-owned businesses on a regional and national level. A nationally recognized speaker at events targeting diverse business development, Moore brings over 25 years of corporate business and management experience to the board. He has previously served on the boards of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce, the Corporate Procurement Council, Advisory Board of the National Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council.

Black is the founder of Tantus, Inc., a sex toy manufacturing company that has helped change the profile of sexuality products. Known as a “pleasure pioneer”, Black was the first manufacturer to mainstream silicone sex products and educate the industry on material safety and sexuality. Black’s success has brought her accolades inside and outside of her industry, and her articles on material safety standards in sexual products and the chemistry of personal products such as lubricants have been widely published. Black also serves on the Board of the Center for Sex and Culture.

The Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance works to advance the recognition of sexual, gender, and family diversity, not just recognizing diversity but working for justice through advocacy, education and action in the framework of human rights.
