SEXPO® Announces Judging Panel For Sexy Cosplay

By on September 21, 2016

SEXPO® – Health, Sexuality & Lifestyle Expo, the world’s premier event for the adult industry, has announced its judging panel for the Melbourne version of its Sexy Cosplay Competition. Based on the success that was Sydney Sexy Cosplay in May, Melbourne’s event will see an improved competition based on feedback from the cosplay industry and previous participants.

Still on offer will be Australia’s largest cash prize, a cool $2000 for the winner, and an all-expenses paid trip to the next Australian SEXPO® Sexy Cosplay. The heat winners will receive $500 cash, and every heat contestant will walk away with a $250 SEXPO® showbag.
The competition, being hosted by Australia’s favourite geek goddess, Lucie Bee, will also feature guest judging from Jimmy Reilly, better known as Jimmy The Geek thanks to his hilarious antics on the TV hit show, Beauty and the Geek. Joining Jimmy will be Siren Vandoll, Sydney’s Sexy Cosplay winner and sex educator who won with a burlesque rendition of Harley Quinn. Rounding out the judging panel will be Alana Evans, American adult star, cosplayer, avid gamer and AVN Hall of Famer.

Original architect behind the competition and SEXPO® Event Manager Bentleigh Gibson said “…the judging panel represents a cross-section of the cosplaying and pop-culture community.

We are thrilled that Alana, Jimmy and Siren have joined SEXPO® in promoting this competition as a safe and fun way for cosplayers to express their passion in a sexy way.”

The judging process for Melbourne 2016 will be slightly different to that of Sydney, with participants being evaluated on a number of criteria including: audience interaction, a short interview with the host and identifying how well their cosplay conveys their idea of sexy.

There will be three heats and one final held on the main stage at SEXPO® Melbourne
2016 as follows:

Heat 1: Friday Nov 25 at 7:45PM
Heat 2: Saturday Nov 26 at 3:30PM
