Susan Colvin Brings Home Lifetime Achievement Award

Los Angeles, CA – Susan Colvin, President and CEO of California Exotic Novelties, receives the Lifetime Achievement Award from AVN during the “O” Awards. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the annual Adult Novelty Expo.

Colvin says, “I’m honored to receive this spectacular honor from our wonderful friends at AVN. The industry has been through many transformations since California Exotic Novelties’ inception 21 years ago. Even though this award celebrates a lifetime’s body of work, I can tell you we’re going strong and have amazing things in store for the future from both California Exotic Novelties and JOPEN!”

Susan Colvin is the first woman to own and operate a major novelty company. She has contributed many innovations to the industry, many of which are now industry standards. Female and couples’-friendly packaging, quality motors and materials, features like waterproof products, were all spearheaded by Susan Colvin.

The “O” Awards celebrates outstanding achievement in the pleasure products industry. Held as a brunch, it took place this year inside Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, on Thursday, January 22, 2015.
