Marcus West – JoyDIVISION
ATLANTA – European sensual lifestyle product manufacturer JOYDIVISION has announcedMarcus West as senior vice president of sales and marketing for its U.S. team.
“Our top priority was to find someone who is not only familiar with the American market, but also a big picture thinker,” says James Parker, president of JOYDIVISION USA. “Marcus brings a lot to the table with his experience, and he knows how to expand the reach of sensual wellness products with original ideas that engage the public.”
West comes to JOYDIVISION from his role as head of the marketing and sales department at Evolved Novelties. He has more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience, and more than six years in the sensual wellness industry. He has worked with such brands as Proctor & Gamble, HBO and MTV, and had been with Evolved since 2009.
“The U.S. market is integral to our company’s global growth strategy,” says Bianca Küennecke, executive vice president of JOYDIVISION. “With Marcus on our team, I’m confident that we will be taking advantage of every opportunity to position our brand in the U.S. – from the adult market to corner drug store sales.”
Marcus West headed from Los Angeles to Atlanta over the holidays and formally took his post in the first week of January, the company said.
