Chatworth, LA, — New Sensations was honored at the 2015 XRCO Awards with wins for “Second Chances” for Best Release – Feature and Jacky St. James for Best Director – Features. Written and directed by St. James, “Second Chances” became New Sensations’ crowd-pleasing hit and critical darling of 2014, earning numerous awards, and further establishing St. James as one of the industry’s most talented and exciting filmmakers.

“I am overjoyed by the recognition XRCO has given me as a director,” Jacky St. James said. “Features and scripted adult films are my greatest love. They require so much time, effort, and passion that it is especially validating to be honored for that.”

St. James is coming off her first year as a full-time director, helming a variety of acclaimed romance and dramatic features and scripted vignettes. Her XRCO win for Best Director – Features comes on the heels of being named Best Director – Body of Work at the 2015 XBIZ Awards. Jacky’s work has also found recognition in mainstream circles, praised for its thought-provoking and sex-positive storylines and cinematic scope., in February, hailed St. James as “The Woman Who Conquered Porn.”

“Second Chances,” the romantic tale of a heartsick college coed (Carter Cruise) who finds the courage to love again and forgive the man who betrayed her trust, connected with consumers and critics alike in 2014. In addition to being named Best Release – Feature at this year’s XRCO Awards, the dramedy took Best Romantic Movie and Best Actress honors at the 2015 AVN Awards and garnered acting wins for Cruise and supporting cast Jessa Rhodes, Chad White, and St. James at the 2015 XBIZ Awards.
